Continuous further training is essential for high-quality counseling and support work in applied sportpsychology. For this reason, remaining on the asp expert database for competitive sport is linked to regular further education and training.
This includes participation in sportpsychology training events of at least 24 units (1 unit = 45 minutes) over a period of three years. (16 and 8 units).

The field of applied sportpsychology is characterized, among other things, by the heterogeneous professional biographies of the experts working in it. This applies in particular to the different further education and training courses that experts undergo after graduating from university. Against this backdrop, a uniform and independent review of further education and training is very important in terms of continuous quality assurance. This function is assumed by the asp Advisory Board.
