The expert database of the Federal Institute sees itself as "a search mask and database for finding qualified and experienced people for psychological support in top-class sport". So it informs them about potential contacts for competitive sport and serves to ensure the quality of (sports) psychological services, as offered by the DOSB and OSP (Olympic bases).A job as a mental or motivational trainer or coach is unaffected by the listing on the expert database.

The expert database includes qualified and experienced people for psychological support in top-class sport. To be admitted, all of the above quality criteria for sports psychological support work in top-level sport must be met.
